Laboratory for Applied Informatics and Research

Researchers at LAIRHUB are currently engaged in individual and team projects related to personalized AI, large language models, and information and communication development for developing countries. A brief description of these projects are given below. Learn more about these projects from the project page.

  1. CARE4Mind

An endeavour revolutionizing mental health support through a comprehensive data system involving patients, family members, community organizations, and partner vendors, integrating various data layers into AI systems.

2. Health Data Exchange (HDX)

A global platform dedicated to open data, aggregated software, and collaborative learning communities aligned with the FAIR data principle to facilitate reproducible research.

    3. DCDATA Info

Aggregating and organizing datasets within humanities and social sciences using the robust bibliographic tool Zotero, enhancing discoverability and integrity of the data.

      4. Comparative Analysis of Software Innovation of Lower Middle Income Countries Using Github Data

Developing a metric to analyze software development across Low and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs) using GitHub’s Innovation Graph and the Global Innovation Index (GII).

        5. NeuroInformation Search

Exploring neurological dynamics during information seeking processes, categorizing searches based on complexity, and establishing a comprehensive framework to understand information interaction.

          6. Scatter Gather

Advancing clustering and label generation for research papers in the PATTIE database to streamline management, retrieval, and searchability, transforming user search experience.

            7. Information Addiction

Understanding, defining, measuring, and addressing information addiction phenomenon through digital platforms and technological devices, exploring mechanisms and developing remediation strategies.
